Rhythms of Transformation

LEVEL I provides participants with the ability to begin exploring the use of GIM in therapeutic practices.

The course provides a basic understanding of the history, elements and process of the Bonny Guided Imagery and Music method. Instruction on the use Level 1 music programs is included.

Participants will experience the GIM process personally and practice giving GIM sessions.

About Guided Imagery and Music

The Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) is a music-centered experiential therapy used to access and explore the human psyche. It can lead to insight, emotional release and core integration of body, mind and spirit.

GIM has been evolving for the past 25 years. Specially-trained practitioners from a variety of theoretical bacgrounds have applied GIM to a wide range of client populations. It has been successfully used with adults and children, proving effective with all kinds of stress-related, emotional, and physical disorders, with the chemically dependent as well as with persons interested in personal and spiritual growth.

TRAINING COSTS

$575 (Early Bird fee is less $25) pays tuition, course manual and administrative fee. Room and board (if necessary) is not included.

 

Presentation Lengths:
Level I is a 4-day training.

Therapists, counselors, mental health workers, nurses, health practitioners, pastoral counselors.
